Stronghold of the Highlands

For nearly 500 years, the Eilean Donan Castle guarded the Highlands, withstanding Norse expeditions, feuding clans, civil wars, and uprisings before succumbing to ruins in 1715. It resurrected two hundred years later and resumed its post in the Inverness.
